Herbs and Mylk

Herbs and Mylk was founded on September 4, 2020, born from a deep commitment to clean, high-quality skincare—and a mother’s determination to protect her child. The company’s founder had always cared about natural, gentle ingredients, but everything changed when her son was born without an immune system and became severely immunocompromised during a global pandemic.

After undergoing a bone marrow transplant at Boston Children’s Hospital, daily rounds of more than 40 medications, and seven days of intensive chemotherapy, her son returned home still fragile and recovering. Wanting to keep him clean without exposing his healing body to harsh chemicals found in store-bought soaps, she began learning how to make her own products. To her surprise, the homemade formulas not only supported his sensitive immune system—they completely cleared his severe eczema.

When COVID-19 struck, she realized that others could benefit from nourishing, chemical-free skincare as well. What began as a personal solution quickly grew into a brand grounded in care, intention, and wellness. And so, Herbs and Mylk officially came to life.

Today, her son is thriving—strong, joyful, and full of personality. In gratitude for the support they received, Herbs and Mylk gives back each year through donations to organizations such as Boston Children’s Hospital, Be The Match, A Wish Come True, and Nico’s Tree.

The brand continues to grow with the same mission it began with: to provide nourishing, natural skincare made with love, while giving back to the community that helped save a child’s life.
